Hi Erin, please visit the Childbirth Media Center at Youtube. These are older videos but they professionally shot in a documentary style. In particular look at Works of Wonder and Hello Baby playlists for what you need.

I am interested in Centering because: I want to make a difference in someones life for the better and help educate them about the better way of healthcare. I am passionate about what I do with our Centering Program at Kaiser Permanente. I love the lifelong friendships that I build while going thru the journey of pregnancy for all of my patients. I love the personal care that patients receive and I love to keep our groups fun and current. Coming up on being accredited for a year in Jan 2018 and we have grown so much. Already starting 2 groups a month starting Dec 2017, beat our goal to start 2 by a month. #MicDrop

Warmly, Erin Penny Simpkin has some amazing videos, She is a midwife here in Seattle. We purchased the videos and I just saw the other day that there is a newborn video out that is the first 2 weeks or so, so check her website out. She is also a doula. We have the 3 R's video also, its older but its a great video for patients

I recently purchased 2 DVD's from Penny Simkin. I had quite a few support ppl saying that their biggest fear is not being able to ease the pain and hate the fact that they wouldn't know what to do with their partner while she is in labor. So I purchased Penny Simkins "Comfort Measures". Its a longer video but it will be so helpful. We have yet to see if as I just purchased it last week. It has anything from breathing techniques and distraction methods ect. We don't need to play the whole movie but just as long as patients and their partners get the just of it they may feel a little more prepared and a little less anxious. Its all about educating the patient so if this video can ease at least one mind then it will be totally worth it.
Another video I purchased was Amazing Talents of a Newborn. It is also a Penny Simkin video. It is about 20 minutes and talks about the first few weeks and what to expect with a newborn. We have Happiest Baby on the Block but I felt we needed another video, something different. Its very important to keep everyone engaged and instead of having the same ol, same ol, to keep things new and fresh and different. Thats just my opinion but it seems to be working so far. Recruitment is at record numbers and I can't be happier for our program that we have.

Hey everyone! Great suggestions! Thank you for taking the time to post. Warmly, Erin Hi All - Injoy videos referred to above has a wealth of videos from several sources and they are constantly updating them from pregnancy to breastfeeding to postpartum and parenting. Just put in Injoy in Google and their catalog can be accessed. They also have a wealth of other educational items, posters, pelvis and baby doll, birthing charts, etc. Fun to browse through their catalog! The birthing video I like the best for labor is Stages of Labor, latest edition, and they also have one geared to adolescents. Penny Simkin videos are excellent and she also has other things that are helpful on her website. Have fun researching all the great ideas above - Lynn Scheidenhelm

We also have the Injoy Stages of Labor, Comfort Measures, & Newborn Care videos. We don't use them for every group, just depends on timing, patients' previous experiences, & needs expressed from the group. But I highly recommend these videos. They are each about 25 mins, so it still allows some time for discussion before or afterwards.
